Who is behind BioStats?
The managing director of BioStats GmbH is Dr. Alexander Krannich, a statistician and data scientist with experience in academic and industrial research. Dr. Krannich studied medical sciences, statistics, and clinical trial management and has over 15 years of experience in leadership positions in university medicine and the pharmaceutical industry.
As a visiting scientist at the Experimental and Clinical Research Center (ECRC) at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and as a statistical editor for several scientific journals, he brings not only profound expertise but also a broad network to BioStats GmbH. Dr. Krannich is the co-author of over 70 peer-reviewed publications and advises research groups worldwide on the implementation and analysis of their studies.
His specialties include data analysis for drug studies, medical device studies, DiGA studies, health technology assessments (HTA), and real-world data (RWD/RWE).
